Three-year-old swept away by stream found dead near Taliparamba

A three-year-old boy who was swept away by a strong current after falling into a stream at Poomangalam near Taliparamba on Sunday evening was found dead on Monday morning. The deceased was identified as Najuwan Ahmad, son of P.T.P Jafar of Koranpeedika, Pariyaram. The accident occurred near the Kodleri bridge at Poomangalam when the child had accompanied his relatives to the stream for washing clothes and bathing. He reportedly slipped into the water and was immediately swept away by the strong current.
