Triple murder? 3 deaf-mute rag pickers found dead in rented room in UP

PRAYAGRAJ: Three persons, including two women and a man, all deaf and mute, were found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a rented accommodation at Gari Kala area, Leader Road, under the limits of Shahganj police station in the city on Tuesday.Upon being alerted, senior police officials including DCP (city) Maneesh Shandilya along with forensic experts and forces rushed to the spot and carried out investigations.DCP told TOI that the identities of all three persons are yet to be made as bodies have been sent for post mortem.He, however, said that all the three deaf and dumb persons were rag pickers and staying in a rented room.DCP further added that initial police investigations revealed that they might have fought each other and resulted in their killings.The landlord of the house too failed to reveal their identities.Neighbours claimed that they had heard noises from the room late Monday night and spotted bodies inside the room on Tuesday.Further investigations are on.Stay updated with the latest Prayagraj news.
