Two held for sexually assaulting minor girls

The Bandar Taluka police on Monday (August 10, 2026) arrested two individuals for allegedly sexually abusing two minor girls. Speaking to the media, Superintendent of Police V. Vidyasagar Naidu stated that the accused, identified as M. Shyam Kiran (an auto driver) and K. Siddhu, both residents of Bandar Rural Mandal, were arrested and an auto and two mobile phones were seized from their possession. The SP said that the accused allegedly took the two minor girls in the auto and raped them in Rudravaram village on the outskirts of Machilipatnam on August 6. The SP said that a detailed investigation is underway into the POCSO case.
