Vijay's Jana Nayagan screening halted over children in audience

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s latest release ‘Jana Nayagan’ faced an unexpected problem during its screening at a theatre in Chennai on Sunday. Several screenings were delayed, stopped or temporarily cancelled after children were found inside the auditorium in an ‘A’ certified film.‘Jana Nayagan’ screening stopped at mallAs ‘Jana Nayagan’ has received ‘A’ certificate from CBFC, as per the certification rules only adults are allowed to watch the film in theatres. However, reportedly an incident happened during the 9:25 am show at PVR Cinemas, Ampa Mall. According to a post shared by a fan who was present at the moment, the screening of the film was stopped around 9:35 am after police officials entered the auditorium. They reportedly noticed several families had brought children into the A-rated show.Sharing the video from inside the theatre, the user further added, “The show was paused for nearly an hour while the parents with children were asked to leave. There was very little communication during the delay, and the audience was left waiting. Eventually, the management announced a refund and the screening resumed after the parents with children had exited.
