Win ratio analysis of surgical approaches for lung cancer: a nationwide observational study using the French national hospital discharge database

A large-scale study of over 62,000 patients in France found that minimally invasive surgical approaches for lung cancer, such as VATS and robot-assisted surgery, result in better outcomes than traditional thoracotomy. While robotic surgery showed a statistically significant advantage over VATS, the clinical difference was considered marginal.
