WWE Raw results, grades (July 20): Bloodline ups the ante; Danhausen triggers an Oba Femi demolition

"WWE Raw" was in Detroit this Monday, July 20, at the Little Caesars Arena after an eventful Saturday Night's Main Event in Madison Square Garden. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins closed out the night this past weekend, gearing up for their big World Heavyweight title clash at SummerSlam, but only one was at tonight's show.Tumbleweeds It has to be addressed right off the top, folks. For a show that is setting up to WWE's second biggest weekend of the year, "Raw" couldn't have been more of a filler than it was tonight. To start with positives, the in-ring work was solid. The show actually started immediately with a match for a change. The former U.S. champ offered to help neutralize Roman Reigns' numbers game at SummerSlam. Rollins admitted Sikoa had a point but stopped short of accepting without any explanation given. Sikoa found that dumb on Rollins' part, believing Rollins needed no time to think about the proposition, considering the history he was aware of. Before the conversation could go any further, Jacob Fatu arrived, sending Sikoa retreating — and eating a superkick from Rollins just for giggles. The interaction between Sikoa and Rollins made him weary of his SummerSlam teammate, Sikoa. Despite his abysmal in-ring results in 2026, Knight continues to be one of the wiser, logical voices of reason — on the mic. And I mean only on the mic. It was a fine match that certainly made me question where WWE has placed Fatu in the pecking order. He hasn't wrestled since his second loss to Reigns, after all. But Fatu never felt like he was in real danger. Somewhere in the middle, he casually grabbed a bottle of Gatorade before resuming the beating, which was unexpectedly the funniest moment of the night. Fatu blasted Knight with a superkick, a pop-up Samoan Drop and a Mighty Moonsault to score the win. Once again, all the distractions cost Knight his third loss in his fourth singles matches this year. The post-match brawl left bodies everywhere, with The Bloodline once again standing tall. Hilariously, I have to point out that WWE has just kept running back the exact same sneak-up Samoan Spike spot with Jimmy and Sikoa. There will be no going back on my word. But, at this point, if WWE's idea of finally crowning him is off of Rollins' title shot promise from last week, it will be absolutely hilarious. Highly unlikely, but my goodness. Every singles match has become: How does he get jobbed this time?Femihausen The Danhausen-Judgment Day saga continued tonight, and will extend to SummerSlam, when Danhausen faces the aforementioned Mysterio. The long-running faction did their best to hold up Danhausen, only to get cursed (again), which led to JD McDonagh suffering the wrath of Oba Femi. Holy smokes. The guy was on fire, despite the match being beside Dragon Lee against The Vision. At this rate, Evans has become arguably the most consistent performer on the whole WWE roster. Every single time you watch him, you're in awe of how gracefully he just floats around the ring. Realistically, he could use some kind of edge to him, which could propel him to the next level as a talent.
