How Headlinne Chooses Articles
From 35+ sources to your feed—here is how Headlinne selects, filters, and ranks articles for each user.
By Headlinne Editorial Team · Updated on
Source selection
Headlinne ingests from 35+ established news publishers spanning politics, technology, business, science, health, and world affairs. Sources are chosen for editorial quality, not ideological alignment.
Ingestion and analysis
New articles are scraped, cleaned, and analyzed by AI pipelines that generate summaries, bias scores, topic tags, and embeddings. Only successfully analyzed articles enter the recommendation pool.
Personalized ranking
For each user, available articles are scored against their recommendation profile. Top-scoring articles appear in the feed, with exploration slots reserved for diverse content outside the user's typical pattern.
Freshness filtering
Articles older than 48 hours are removed from active feeds. This continuous refresh ensures your feed reflects the current news cycle, not an accumulating archive.
Sponsored content
Occasionally, clearly labeled sponsored cards appear in the feed. These are human-reviewed campaigns that do not affect organic article ranking or recommendation quality.
Key takeaways
