Two research paths, one report
Older versions of Dive Deeper could only draw on articles Headlinne had already ingested. The current version adds a second path: live Google Search, so a report can include developments from the last few hours, not just what Headlinne happened to have indexed.
Neither source waits for the other
Both searches kick off the moment you open Dive Deeper and run independently. Whichever finishes first does not block the other — the system waits for both (or a timeout), then merges whatever came back. A slow or unavailable web search never stalls the internal results.
Merging without duplicating
Once both searches return, overlapping coverage of the same story is detected and collapsed into a single entry rather than being cited twice, so the Sources section reads as one clean, deduplicated list — not two separate piles of similar links.
